Start by getting double under hooks and pulling the person close to you. Hug one shoulder or they try to shoulder pressure from guard
- straight arm lock if you get your feet on your partners hips
- shoulder crunch sweep if they drive back into you before feet on the hips. If you get stuck halfway, kick the leg out

- belly down armbar if they pull the arm out
- if the person that is getting armbarred, forward rolls, roll with them and throw the leg over the head
Person brings their arm around your face
- grab the tricep of the arm that is coming around the head and then grab the lat with the other hand. Take the back if they posture up and stay on that side.
- they try to center up with you, clamp your legs around their waist and let them lift you and take their back.
- pendulum sweep - if the person is just laying there with their face on the mat - always going underneath the far arm and moving up into s-mount
- armbar pendulum over the arm
- hook their hip and drive back into them taking S mount
- armbar - grab the triceps and reach across to the far shoulder with the other arm. Armbar if the person tries to center back up with you
- armbar dumping them on their back
- armbar spinning belly down
