Gi Curriculum
1 - start on your side
- 2 on 1 on the arm, making sure that they cannot grab your lapel
- get the underhook, and pull your elbow back down. Push on the knee backwards combat stand up like the same way from me hug and Dela Riva. Could go for a flying triangle if your partner stays down on their knees as you stand.
2 - Regard
- if the person has their elbow on the mat go for the straight arm lock as you regard
+ Sometimes into butterfly guard for nogi
3 - Sweep over the leg - some people will grab their hands together, sit up and check the person with your shoulder as you pull the knee out from underneath
- Sweep over the shoulder - chicken shrimp
4 - Take the back to

- arm bar pulling on the lapel, stepping over the head and falling backwards
5 - Work on pummeling here instead of at the beginning in gi.

9 - Knee shield half guard into leg locks

Defenses
- other people will throw their legs up and over the person and then you end up belly down on the bent knee, foot is still underneath the person
10 - Deep half guard
- over the falls - get the person on your shoulder
- out the back door
- single leg
- waiter sweep
11 - Lockdown
- keep your foot underneath your butt. Do not straighten it. Lockdown never happens.
- if they do get to the lockdown stand up get your foot towards your partner's butt and push down on their knees
