Engage with the legs until you pass the legs. Then engage with the upper body
Grabbing the sleeve and then breaking the grip by pummeling over the top and outside

Andre says never to pass by grabbing both pant legs because your partner can grab both sleeves.
I say who gives a f***. Pass to knee on stomach where their grips are worthless. Armbar them. You can rip the grips from there, but if the person is smart they will already let go to work to escape.
X pass to arm bar...
Pass to knee on stomach if you are controlling both arms, because they will be controlling both of your arms as you are trying to pass and establish side control, you will lose the position.

2.10 Cartwheel pass - with one hand in between the legs and the other hand on the knee facing your opponent while cartwheeling

Grab the belt and push back on the other knee, back out, let go of the belt and elbow around the corner
Spider guard
- step in to even the pressure on the biceps posture and just reach over and grab the ankle and pass
- use the knee on the thigh to bring one elbow around and bowl the other leg past

- push knee down and drive knee to the mat on the side that you partner is grabbing the heel
